Tax Credit

Arizona's future for the tax credit program is unstable. Of course I am a private school administrator and rely heavily on this program. How do you feel about this program? Please fill out the poll on the right of the blog.

I am not real familiar on how tax credits work. I know that they help with our field trips and it HELPS tremendously, since my students cant afford them. If they help you.....then sure

I think tax credits are very important. It also helps public schools. Even though it is an interesting topic regarding church and state in some cases.

I think this is a great way to generate funds for programs.

From what I know of tax credits, that's how our school gets a great deal of its money. It also helps fund field trips at our school. Also, I feel many people aren't educated about tax credits. I've only seen benefits from it, so why wouldn't everyone use tax credits?

Driving the investment choice to the actual individual paying the tax always makes sense to me. It should be higher however. The dilema will yield a question of equity however.

Very insightful comment Q.
I have seen first hand how the tax credit has had a huge impact on my school. I don't think any of us would be able to go on a fieldtrip without the tax credit funding. I feel that the tax credit needs more marketing and publicity-few people know about it.

I think that it should continue!! I like it!! I actually think that people should be able to decide where their tax money should be spent...pick the school where their kids attend...might sound a little radical...
